Razer Gold Global vs regional PINs, explained
Razer Gold is sold in two flavors: Global PINs priced in US dollars and regional PINs issued for a single country. They look alike on a receipt, but they behave differently once you try to use or sell them.

How to tell which PIN you have
Check the product name on your receipt, gift email or the seller’s order page. Global PINs are usually listed as “Razer Gold Global” with a dollar value such as $10, $50 or $100. Regional PINs name a country or currency, for example Razer Gold Malaysia (MYR) or Razer Gold Turkey (TRY).
If the receipt is gone, the store’s order history usually still shows the product name.
Why the region matters
A Razer Gold account holds its balance in one currency tied to the account’s region. A Global PIN converts into most account currencies; a regional PIN only works on accounts from its own region. That is why a regional PIN bought abroad often cannot be used at home.
What to do with a PIN you can’t use
If the PIN has not been reloaded yet, its value is still intact. You can give it to someone with a matching account, or sell it.
- Do not try to reload it into the wrong account: a failed attempt does not help and can trigger account checks
- Keep the PIN and serial number private until you have agreed a price in writing
- Note the exact type and value; that is all a buyer needs for a quote
Selling a Razer Gold PIN
We quote Global and regional PINs separately because demand differs. Send the type, value and number of PINs and you will get a quote with a PayPal or crypto payout before sharing the PIN.
