Where UK Apple Gift Cards come from

In the UK, Apple Gift Cards are sold by Apple and by supermarkets such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda, as well as Argos, Currys, Boots and many online shops. They come in fixed values from £10 and in custom amounts.

Older App Store & iTunes cards and Apple Store vouchers still turn up in drawers and birthday cards. They can still have value, so tell us exactly what is printed on yours.

UK cards and overseas cards are quoted separately

Apple codes only redeem on an Apple Account registered in the same country. A US card will not work on a UK account, and a UK card will not work in the US.

That is why a UK £ card and a US $ card of the same face value are quoted differently. If you hold a card from the US, the EU, Canada or elsewhere, give us its country and currency.

Watch out for gift card scams

Apple Gift Cards are a favourite tool of scammers. Someone pretending to be HMRC, a bank, an energy supplier, a delivery firm or even a relative asks you to buy cards and read out the codes. Genuine organisations never ask to be paid in gift cards.

Before you message us

Check the card is unused and has not been added to an Apple Account. Keep the receipt if you have it and leave the code covered. The value and where it was bought are all we need for a first quote.
